Q: Should I just join with a Temporary Visiting Pilot Membership in Nov or Dec?

A: It is always a good idea to Join or Renew with a Full Annual Membership!

New and early and Annual Memberships Renewals submitted in the months of November and December will be rolled over to the following years Annual Membership.
Temporary Visiting Pilots do not receive full membership benefits like gate codes and must fly with a full member for site access at some sites like Palomar.
If you join in Nov or Dec, you will be getting those months free.
It is also a good idea to renew early, so that you do not have a laps in your membership as Gate Codes will be changing in January 2016.

So, you can now Join or Renew your SDHGPA Membership for the 2016 Annual Year.

Hello I'm a USHPA member P-3 I might visit the area 12/25 -12/31/15 would I be able to join you in group mountain launches

Hi Michael,

Yes, you can join local pilots in flying our sites. Visiting membership is required for most sites. http://www.sdhgpa.com/membership.html

Best to hook up with local pilots via commenting on our FB page or on the SD Paragliding FB page. That is a closed group and sent you an invite.

For day of planning and site selection, we mostly use Twitter, details are at the bottom of the Join Page. You can also follow a feed from local Pilots that are tweeting Publicly on http://www.sdhgpa.com/whats-happening.html
