The El Cap weather station is provided and maintained through a collaboration between the San Diego River Park Foundation, SDRPF, and the San Diego Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association, SDHGPA .
The ElCap station serves as an Indicator WX Station for the Blossom flying site. Correlation of conditions recorded at this station to conditions at the Blossom flying site is TBD.
