Prior Records: Flights are listed as Prior records if the flight held the record for any length of time even if the site record was subsequently broken on the same day.
Notable Flights are recognized flights that Pioneered an XC route:
- Furthest flight in a given flight path or route
- 1st flight in a given direction/ route that pioneered the route
- 1st flight in a given direction/ route to reach a milestone or prior hurdle on a given route
To qualify for Site Records:
- The full flight must be a Clean Flight without flight violations. Any flight that results in a documented legal infraction (FAA or local law enforcement), will disqualify that flight from being a site record. Simply, flights violating air space will be disqualified and not scored for the SDHGPA XC contest or Site Record listing. Also, all Site Requirements also need to be fulfilled to comply with landowner and local ordnances for the Site. Laguna, Palomar, Big Black, and Little Black require USHPA and SDHGPA membership to be current the day of the flight per use agreements and permits.
- Flights after 2012 must have tracklogs submitted to Leonardo
