This little thing called the Red Bull X-Alps that many of us will be following via Live tracking and video feeds as they come in. This year we have 4 US competitors running and flying in the race that zigzags the length of the Alps.
Will this be the year for the US team?
| This will be the 5th time US pilot Honza Rejmanek (US1) has run the race finishing a very respected 9th, 3rd, 10th, & 11th in prior races. |  |
| It will be interesting to see how Our 1st timer US pilots make out. Gavin McClurg (US2) just placed 3rd in this years single day warm up race. Gavin Recently nominated a National Geographic Adventurer of the Year and is a serious athlete to watch. |  |
| Dawn Westrum (US3) a former US soldier that has been flying for 5 years. |  |
| Then there is our wildcard pilot Dave Tuner (US4) to mix things up. Dave is an adventurer with a serous climbing background that has recently turned to flying. Dave has been turning out some heavy duty flights and holds the California State distance record. |  |
All of the athletes are fit, excited, and ready to start! Team USA is looking strong and we have come to race. less than 18 hours until go time, and we are looking forward to the big day!
